Still it is amazing just how adventurous one can feel doing the kind of things that eveyone does. When you are the one doing them it feels quite different..
Sean remembers the wary sense of suspicion he's felt every time he's lifted to his mouth a forkful of some new, exotic food and how they all teased him while they were in Crimea shooting Sharpe when he had Mel send him care packages of instant soup and comfort Brit food.
Sean remembers the sense of being balanced on the edge of a precipe and making the deliberate choice to jump and fall, he remembers it from each of his marriages, from each time he was told he would become a father.
Maybe he is adventurous after all, because he would do it again for the right one.
